Sasaram MP Shri Manoj Kumar inaugurated the 12th State Conference at Chand, Kaimur, in April 2026 and undertook to raise the samiti's demands in Parliament. Bhabua MLA Shri Bharat Bind also attended. Reported by Dainik Bhaskar.

On 24 September 2010, Aaj and Dainik Jagran both reported the samiti's twentieth foundation day at Jagjivan College, Manpur, Gaya. Magadh Divisional Commissioner Dr. K.P. Ramaiah lit the lamp and told the gathering that education is a fundamental right — and that it is a great misfortune that some leaders do not want schools built in their villages. A Kala Jatha performed on the Right to Education.
24 सितम्बर 2010 को आज और दैनिक जागरण, दोनों ने जगजीवन कॉलेज, मानपुर, गया में समिति के बीसवें स्थापना दिवस की रिपोर्ट छापी। मगध प्रमंडलीय आयुक्त डॉ. के.पी. रामैया ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर कहा कि शिक्षा हमारा मौलिक अधिकार है — और यह बड़े दुर्भाग्य की बात है कि कुछ नेता अपने गाँवों में विद्यालय का निर्माण नहीं चाहते। कला जत्था ने शिक्षा के अधिकार पर प्रस्तुति दी।
The national Kala Jatha of the Saakshar Bharat Yatra at Manpur, Gaya, was inaugurated by Shri Jeetan Ram Manjhi, then Bihar's Minister for Welfare and later Chief Minister of Bihar. Thousands of women attended.
