This page explains how to remove Media Sathi's access to your Meta account and ask us to delete your data.
Step 1: Remove our access (if you connected through Facebook or Meta)
- In Meta Business Settings, open Integrations → Connected apps, select Media Sathi and click Remove.
- Or, on Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Media Sathi and click Remove.
After this, we can no longer access your WhatsApp Business Account or send messages from your number.
Step 2: Ask us to delete your data
- Email info@mediasathi.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request", from the email on your account, or
- Send "DELETE MY DATA" to us on WhatsApp at +91 84341 15565.
Please include your business name, WhatsApp number, and Meta Business ID if you know it.
What we delete
Your account profile, access tokens, WhatsApp Business Account IDs, message history, contacts, lead data and templates stored on our systems.
What we may keep, and for how long
Invoices and payment records for as long as tax laws require, and security logs for at least one year as required by law. These are then deleted.
Timeline
We acknowledge your request within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation with a reference number.
Please note
Deleting data from Media Sathi does not delete data that Meta holds in your WhatsApp Business Account. You can manage that in WhatsApp Manager or your Meta Business Settings.
If you chatted with a business that uses Booking Sathi
Please contact that business, because it controls your data. You can also write to info@mediasathi.in; we will pass your request to the business and help it respond.
